A Materials Practice

Transience and movement are at the centre of my work and have been explored in many forms, from mechanisms and articulation to surface finish and structure. Through a developed understanding of materials and processes, I select these for specific properties and draw on their inherent characteristics. This has led me on a journey from traditional screen-printed textiles to silversmithing, wood and polymer working and the integration of advanced materials in complex woven structures.
